CESL Conducts Fire Safety Awareness Programme
Central Engineering Services (Pvt) Ltd (CESL) conducted a Fire Safety Awareness Programme on 20th October 2026 at the CESL Head Office, with the participation of Head Office staff members. The programme was conducted by Mr. Kalindu Perera, Training Officer, and organized by the CESL Training Unit in collaboration with the Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Unit. The programme included both theoretical and practical sessions, providing participants with essential knowledge of fire safety, fire prevention, and appropriate responses to fire-related emergencies. During the practical session, participants were guided on the correct use of fire extinguishers, including how to select the appropriate extinguisher for different classes of fire, the proper techniques for using them, and the importance of following safety procedures during an emergency. This initiative reflects CESL’s continued commitment to promoting workplace safety, strengthening emergency preparedness, and fostering a safety-conscious working environment for all employees.
