Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony for the Three-Story Governor’s Office Building of the North Central Provincial Council
The foundation stone laying ceremony for the proposed Three-Story Governor’s Office Building of the North Central Provincial Council was held on 10th September 2026 at the North Central Province.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of the Hon. Governor North Central Province, Mr. Wasantha Jinadasa; the Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Nandana Galaboda; the Chief Secretary, Mr. J.M.R.P. Jayasingha; Chairman of CESL and CECB, Eng. A.P. Jayatissa; the Chief Executive Officer of CESL, Eng. Anura Semasinghe; the Chief Operations Engineer (North and North Central Province) of CESL, Eng. A. Pushparajah; and Chief Operations Engineer (Asset Management, Project Monitoring & System Development) of CESL, Eng. Nalin Dhanawardhana.
The occasion was also attended by engineers and heads of the CESL North Central Province Base Office, together with other distinguished officials and invitees.
The commencement of this project marks another significant milestone in the development of public infrastructure in the North Central Province. CESL is honoured to contribute its expertise and engineering capabilities towards the successful implementation of this important project.
