In the dynamic landscape of technology and innovation, the continuous development of engineering skills is imperative for staying ahead in the competitive market. Recognizing the significance of nurturing a highly skilled workforce, CESl is turning to in-house training programs and career development programs to empower their engineers with the latest knowledge and tools. Facilitating training programs for engineers is not just a strategic initiative, it's a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within the organization. This introductory journey into the realm of training programs for engineers unveils the unique advantages, challenges, and transformative potential that such programs bring to the forefront of modern engineering enterprises.
The first of these continuous training for skill development commenced with the guidance of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Eng. S.B.A.D. Semasinghe in collaboration with Advanced Construction Training Academy (ACTA) on 15th November 2023. The inauguration was addressed by the chairman of CESL Eng. B.A.S. Sunil Perera.

The Programme covered:
1. General Law introduction, Procedures and Court structure by Dr. Muditha Liyanagedara
2. Introduction to Contract Documents by Eng. Thilak Weerawarna
3. Contract Claims, Claim Identification, Claim Establishment, Alternative Dispute, Disputes Resolution Procedures by Layer Mahesh Abeynayake
4. Claim Proceedings by QS. Nisantha Wickramasinghe

The training programme was conducted from 15th to 17th November 2023, and 22 CESL Engineers participated in the program. Certificates were awarded to the participants at the end of the programme.
