Grand Opening of the newly constructed Court Complex at Kilinochchi
The New Courts Complex at Kilinochchi constructed under the “Vistas of Prosperity†vision of His Excellency Gotabaya Rajapaksa, the President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, was ceremoniously declared open on 27th of January 2022 by Hon. Mohamed Ali Sabri, PC, Minister of Justice with the distinguished presence of Hon. Douglas Devananda, Minister of Fisheries and Hon. Member of Parliament of the District, with other distinguished guests in attendance.
The Courts Complex constructed by Central Engineering Services (Pvt) Ltd. as a constructed arm of CECB. The project awarded to CECB under Design and Build concept. It Consists of District courts, Magistrate courts, High courts with modern office facilities. The cost of the project is Rs. 330 million.
